GIS Workshop is a two-day intensive workshop that will introduce participants to the fundamental concepts and hands-on techniques of data visualization and analysis using publicly available open source GIS programs. GIS concepts including spatial data structures, data sources and transfer methods, projections and coordinate systems, geo-referencing, querying, analysis along with hands-on exercise on GIS software.
